Smart Messaging Tailored - Notice of Planned Service Maintenance - Disabling TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on May 12th 2025 in 9 days

Hello,

We are writing to inform you that, as part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and data protection, we will be disabling TLS 1.0 and 1.1 (Transport Layer Security version 1.0 and 1.1) on May 12th 2025. This change is in line with industry standards and best practices, as TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are considered outdated and less secure.

What does this mean for you?

After May 12th 2025, any systems or applications that rely on TLS 1.0 or 1.1 for secure communication may experience connectivity issues. To avoid any disruptions, we strongly recommend that you update your systems to support TLS 1.2 or higher, which offers improved security and performance.

What action should you take?

• Review your systems, applications, and devices to ensure they support TLS 1.2 or later.
• If you are unsure about your current setup, please consult with your IT team or service provider to make the necessary updates.
• If you need assistance or have questions about this change, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team.

We are committed to providing you with the best possible service and appreciate your understanding as we continue to enhance security across our systems.

Thank you for your attention to this important update. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team at support@tailored.bt.com

Best wishes,
